There’s a huge, impressionable audience out there, just beyond your grasp, with disposable income to spend
College and high school students, that is.
If you want to tap into that market, Daley Technology Systems has created an innovative newspaper e-Edition program that targets this audience, among other large demos.
The DTS Newspaper e-Edition program allows students who enroll (or re-enroll) in school to receive a newspaper e-Edition subscription whose steeply discounted cost is included in their registration or student activity fee.
Once the student has opted in to receiving the newspaper e-Edition subscription, DTS will communicate periodically with students (via e-mail, “Sly-dial” cell phone voicemail, or cell phone text message) to promote great offers from local and national retailers.
The numbers speak for themselves:
-- There are 400 colleges and universities and vocational schools in California and 5,748 nationally.
-- 14.1 million college students (and 16.3 million high school students) nationally.
-- California college graduates can earn $30,000 more annually than do high school graduates (or GED equivalents).
-- College students, read more, earn more, and spend more money than do high school graduates (or GED equivalents).
