Six local Los Angeles Newspaper Group (LANG) newspapers inserted a promotional flier into single copies.

The promotion ("Get your Stimulus Package Now") promised relief from the challenging economic times by offering Subscriber Savings Cards to new subscribers who sign up to receive 52 weeks of Weekender home delivery from a participating LANG newspaper.

The cost for the subscription, plus the card, is only $20.

The Subscriber Savings Card offers cardholders unlimited usage and savings on dining and shopping at 1,000s of retailers nationwide for an entire year.

Cardholders can also use it to take advantage of offers and opportunities from name brand companies with which DTS is affiliated, like Joe Barter, LLC, OWL Enterprises, Formula Drift, the Los Angeles Clippers, RadEvent, and others.
